Blue and green flowers in baskets for a wedding ceremony at the bryan museum

Elegant blues, soft texture, and a calm pivot to Plan B

Kayla and Samuel’s wedding at The Bryan Museum was full of thoughtful details, relaxed elegance, and an easygoing warmth that reflected them perfectly. From the soft blue and green palette to the lush floral choices, every element felt intentional without being overdone.

Petal & Shine brought the design to life with florals arranged in wicker and rattan baskets — a blend of natural texture and refined color that echoed the understated charm of the venue. While the original plan was an outdoor ceremony in the gardens, rain shifted us indoors that morning. Thanks to clear backup plans and a prepared team, the transition was seamless, and the ceremony space felt just as meaningful.

The morning unfolded with an easy rhythm as Adorne Artistry worked with the wedding party at The White house the the Oleander Hotel, setting the tone for a day that felt relaxed and grounded from the very beginning. Once guests arrived, the celebration moved effortlessly from ceremony to reception, supported by a cohesive vendor team and thoughtful planning that allowed Kayla and Samuel to stay fully present. E.C. Entertainment kept the atmosphere warm and inviting, and Alchemy Bake Lab created both a classic tiered cake and a fun hamburger cake, plus a dessert display to end the night.

One of our favorite parts of the day? Watching Kayla and Samuel fully enjoy every moment — grateful, grounded, and surrounded by the people who mattered most.

Rain or shine, it was exactly the celebration it needed to be.
