Katie and Jeremy’s wedding at The Artisan in Galveston was a masterclass in how to infuse fun and personality into a wedding, without getting kitchy or overlooking the importance of the marriage itself—where sentiment and authenticity met unapologetic fun, and every design detail felt distinctly them.

Their vision was clear from the start: a day that felt bold, lively, and true to their personalities. We used black and white as the foundation, layering in vivid pops of color through the florals, dance floor, and custom details that made the celebration unmistakably their own.

Guests were welcomed into the outdoor ceremony space with hand-doodled style welcome sign and disco balls. The altar area was framed by a bright, sculptural floral arch from @ponderosablooms that transformed the industrial setting into something bold and joyful. It set the tone for what was to come—thoughtful design that didn’t take itself too seriously.

At cocktail hour, guests enjoyed cigars and drinks from the Airstream bar as they mingled and lounged in the courtyard to the sounds of a string quartet from @divisistrings. Before heading in for dinner, you could find your table on the vinyl record seating chart display.

Inside The Artisan, the details told the story. Disco balls and an LED dance floor brought the energy; vinyl records as table numbers hinted at the couple’s love of music; and every piece of signage—from menus to meal indicators—were custom designed by @mesh_by_alex to tie the experience together. The space glowed with color and candlelight, a mix of retro chic and pure joy.

And while the design was unforgettable, the party itself is what everyone will remember. The DJ kept the dance floor full from the first song to the last, and guests toasted with craft cocktails from @barchefshouston under a canopy of disco balls and hanging greenery. The night even included a few unforgettable touches—an ice sculpture from @icedesignshouston, a champagne bottle hand-painted with their new name, and late-night bites before the after party at @soundbartx.

It was one of those weddings where you could feel the couple’s energy in every choice: vibrant, intentional, and full of life. Katie and Jeremy’s celebration at The Artisan perfectly captured what we love about weddings like this—where design leads the way, but connection keeps the focus.

For couples searching for a Galveston wedding venue with personality and architectural character, The Artisan offers the perfect balance. It’s a space that allows creativity to thrive—and this wedding was proof of what’s possible when you lean all the way in.
